About IEERD
IEERD was registered in 1999 under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, by a group of young social activists. The establishment of IEERD was an upshot retort to the civic need and, of course, the culmination of the vision of a group of young social activists, who have been involving in voluntary service activities from their teenage and college life onwards. Understanding the rural areas’ holistic development in all realms is possible through common exertion; IEERD gives utmost precedence to ensuring rural people’s participation and action for their own development facilitating harmonious platform for partnership and accordance.
We work on the areas of Women Development & Empowerment, Rural Livelihood, Education, health and sanitation, Reproductive Women & Child Health, Environment, NRM, Agriculture, Formation and Nurturing of Women Community Structures, Provision of Micro Loans, Establishment of Enterprises etc. For the same IEERD initiates vocational trainings, establishment of production units, skills development training to unemployed youth/women, solid waste management and climate change awareness creation and other activities, training of women on tailoring, embroidery and Fabric painting, formation of farmers clubs and SHGs, conducting exposure visits for farmers on modern technology in agro tools and organic farming techniques, provision loans to SHGs for income generation activities etc. IEERD closely works with NABARD, Ministry of Environment/Youth Affairs, and Woman & Child, CIIL (MHRD, GoI), CSC MoS & PI, GoI, Human Rights Commission (HRC), NCW, DWMA etc. and Foreign Funding Agencies too. IEERD works in 6 states of India- Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Orissa having Project Branch Offices across the country to uplift and develop the Downtrodden and Disadvantaged Human Capital and the human resources for their Socio-Economic Development.
IEERD has all the legal registrations as a voluntary organization; like FCRA (To receive and accept foreign contribution and donations), 12A & 80G (Tax exemptions), NITI Ayog UID, PAN, TAN, GSTIN, Udyam Aadhar, CSR1etc. and updated them regularly as required.
