IEERD since the last few years onwards takes up Research activities and Demonstration initiatives aiming the support and development of students and particularly communities. There are many potential areas, resources, opportunities and feasible human resources over even rural areas that are not yet tapped sustainably towards inclusive development of people irrespective of education and other areas. Hence IEERD with its exclusive team conducted/conducts research and find sustainable solution towards community and areas development.

Usually the situation of orphan, aged, transgenders, street children etc. are pathetic as they have no IDs, income sources, ability to work. And they eke out a living by engaged in begging. And towards the welfare and rehabilitation of such orphan, aged – men and women, people engaged in begging, IIERD has rehabilitation homes though constrained, rehabilitated and provided shelter to transgenders and people in beggary during the last few years. We also provided them with healthy meals, yoga classes, and recreational activity and PPE items too.

Agriculture is one of the most prioritized areas of IEERD’s work including agro-allied activities. Since inception it focuses on with a variety of initiatives. They are imparting raining to farmers and farming-workers, introduction of new agro-devices/machines/tools, organic farming promotion, horticulture development, formation of farmers Clubs (FCs), Loans for Farming families for cultivation, Farmers’ Exposure visits and such many. IEERD believes if not helping the farming families who feed us and our nation is an ineffaceable iniquity.

WE is one of the main Objectives of IEERD and it goes to the very identical drive that led to the establishment of IEERD. Since the beginning onwards IEERD works on the same. Understanding that among the massive issues that debilitate and make the women under inequality and misfortunate; shortage of income and employment opportunities are the prime issues. Women’s socio-political participation will bring empowerment and equality in many levels. And so IEERD takes up skilling & Enterprising, CBOs formation, Women’s education, Digital literacy etc.

Non-Income sources and unemployment is the prime issues that debilitate women, rural youths, slum dwellers etc. Exacerbating the situation, the pandemics, natural calamities; such lives suffer beyond words! And so conducting skill development trainings and gathering skilled/enthusiastic women and youth, IEERD establishes enterprises and industries by arranging input supports and loans/subsidies from various sources. So far IEERD trained and then helped to set-up enterprises, industries and even start-ups for women, girls and youths. IEERD also hosts an exclusive Business Incubation (BI) center under 5 thematic areas.

NRM and conservation initiatives are inevitable over our working areas, for the same is getting depleted day by day. Hence mechanisms of community structures, capacity building, and strong implementation of activities are essential. IEERD’s so far few projects include Eco-restoration through agro-forestry, alternatives to plastic, plantation, development of medicinal Herbal gardens, distribution and promotion of cloth bags, promotion of organic fertilizers, manures and pesticides, Construction of PTs/MPTs, WRD, SMC structures, Trenches, Bunding, GCs etc. And at IEERD there is a research team for studies and find solutions.

The basic backward communities like Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and BCs need support, education and care towards their inclusive development. Hence IEERD under this thematic area; initiates variety of activities like literacy, digital education, agriculture promotion, FRA Rights Initiatives, educational assistance, supply of books/notes/school bags/sports kits, NTFP marketing assistance, skill development trainings & enterprising, conducting medical camps, supply of free medicines, CBOs formation and connect them to concerned departments etc. We give special focus on forest dwelling/depending communities.

For IEERD, education is not mere education of children or college students, but it defines more deep into everyone’s educational development towards indispensable life changes for integrated development. Thus IEERD focuses on educating communities on various aspects. awareness creation trainings on Women Rights, Constitution, Consumer Rights, Food and Nutrition, Various Acts, Equality, Health, Hygiene, Govt. Schemes, RTI/RTE/RTS, Human Rights, Legal Awareness for Women, Energy-renewable & alternative, Environment, Forest resources, Cottage industries, CAT, Organic farming, Bio-mass and such many…..
